Another Surprise

Last night, Abigail came over and brought a surprise with her.

Three row counters made of interlocking jump rings. Each has a bead at one end, and a dog-themed charm at the other.

Aren’t they great? The idea is to place a row counter between two stitches on your needle (to keep it from coming off) and move up to the next ring after you complete a row. After ten rows, you start all over again, and place a marker, such as a coilless safety pin, in your work to mark the first ten rows or rounds.

Abigail made these herself. Wasn’t this a brilliant idea???

These will make knitting on the go–something I am very fond of–much easier, with less need to write little notes to myself about my progress.

Never seen stitch markers like that before. Do you know if the little rings are jump rings? Just wondering how she put them together. Abigail is very talented.

Yes, these were made by interlinking jump rings. You can put a distinctive charm or bead of your choice at each end.

I apologize for not mntioning this in the post. However, it is mentioned in the alt text for the photo. I try to associate alt text with all the pictures I put up, especially if they may not be self explanatory. If you hover your mouse over the picture, you should see the alt text.

Glad you like them.

Have a good day!

We see the problem with the ALT Text and will work on it in the next couple of days.
