Well, ladies and gentlemen, the baby bell bottoms are finished!

What do you think? Can you believe that the striping turned out even? That was God’s grace in its fullest. (For those of you who don’t know, I’m blind. It never occurred to me to match up the balls of yarn for the two pant legs, and when my friends pointed out, in amazement, that the striping matched up, I could only be in awe and attribute it to God.)
They are soon on their way to my niece, along with the booties. I made them to go along with the sweater and the hat, which she refuses to wear for more than a few seconds. I am told that she keeps pulling it off her head. I’m guessing that she won’t wear the booties, either, and she’ll untie the cord on the pants. M.’s mom may not be so happy about this, especially since the pants came out a little big. (Sorry, Mommy!)
Heartfelt thanks to Abigail for her help with grafting the crotch. She did a beautiful job!

Those are the cutest. Isn’t is amazing how God works things out, just to comfirm to us his love and involvement in our lives. In the seemingly little things. Keep on knitting, gal.
